Audrea Topps Harjo
Audrea Topps Harjo has worked in the entertainment industry for over twenty-five years. She has worked for Sony Pictures (CONTACT) Rhythm and Hues, Electronic Arts, WETA Digital (RISE OF THE PLANETS OF THE APES), James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment (AVATAR SEQUELS).
She is currently Chief Operations Officer at A44 Games in Wellington, NZ.
Jessica Manins is CEO and Co-Founder of VR game studio Beyond.
Her talented team were recent winners of the Spark 5G starter fund integrating mobile players into a VR world. Their next VR game is a collaboration with Weta Workshop due for release later this year. Jess is on a mission to bring VR to the masses and have fun while doing it.
Maru Nihoniho is game producer, designer and team leader for her award-winning business Metia Interactive. As a games designer Maru’s focus is on indigenous storytelling as culture-based games are hugely influential and are a powerful outlet for engagement and learning. In 2018 she was named as one of the World’s Top 50 Women in Technology by Forbes magazine.
Chantelle is the CEO at Dinosaur Polo Club, the indie studio behind the award-winning games, Mini Metro and Mini Motorways. Like most indies she wears many hats and her role encompasses people and culture, business relationships, legal and accounts, you name it! In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to her wider games community as the Sponsorship Director at NZ Games Festival.
Bill Hudson is an award-winning visual effects producer. With experience covering a diverse range of productions from award winning TV series, to feature films, he brings a blend of creative and technical abilities with an understanding of producing the highest quality visual effects for Film and TV.
Jarrell is an actor, stuntman, producer, and motion capture specialist; who has been working in the Entertainment Industry for 20 years. His talents and skill base has given him the opportunity to work in video games, movies, television, and more. He is a Bay Area native from Oakland, CA
Johnathan Nixon is a co-Head of FX at WETA Digital. With over 15 years of industry experience, Johnathan has worked on creating both photo realistic and artistically driven FX simulations for Feature Films and Commercial Advertisements. He is currently with the FX team at WETA on the upcoming Avatar Sequels.
Anedra Edwards is a professional in editorial for television and film. Currently, she is the Visual Effects Editor for a Marvel Studios feature film that is in production. She was previously the VFX Editor for the Marvel Studios’ Emmy Nominated series WandaVision which can be viewed on the DisneyPlus streaming app. She has also been a part of the DC Comics family as the VFX Editor for season one thru three of the CW Network’s DC Comics television drama Black Lightning.
Hiria is the Co-Founder of Atamai, Game Producer for 4phases Games, TedX Speaker and Semi finalist for the Trade Me's Innovator of the Year Award 2020. She has over 20 years experience in tech including BCITO, Trademe, Westpac and a lot of government departments. She builds products and teams using digital, IoT, data and infrastructure. Even though she has worked for some heavy hitters in tech, she prefers to create technology for the good of Aotearoa.
Jae Espinosa is a game designer from the Bronx, NYC. They currently work at the Bethesda Game Studios on the award-winning Fallout franchise. Specializing in game systems and mechanics, they bring mere concepts to screens across the globe and strive to make the industry a safe place for everyone.
