Audrea Topps Harjo

Audrea Topps Harjo has worked in the entertainment industry for over twenty-five years. She has worked for Sony Pictures (CONTACT) Rhythm and Hues, Electronic Arts, WETA Digital (RISE OF THE PLANETS OF THE APES), James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment (AVATAR SEQUELS).


She is currently Chief Operations Officer at A44 Games in Wellington, NZ.

Evan Narcisse


Evan Narcisse works as a writer and narrative design consultant in video games, comic books, and TV, often focusing on the intersection of blackness and pop culture. He's the author of the Rise of the Black Panther graphic novel and a contributor to Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Redfall, and Marvel's Avengers. A native New Yorker, he now lives in Austin, Texas.

He uri nō Ngāti Kapu me Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga, Libby Hakaraia has worked as a producer, director and writer in television and film for the past 25 years. Libby is a producer of the 2021 feature film Cousins and of 26 short films. She has also directed over 20 broadcast documentaries as well as three short dramas that have travelled the globe. In 2020 Libby and her team established MATCH - the Māoriland Tech Creative Hub for rangatahi to enter the animation and other digital creative industries.

Monifa Andrew has worked in the industry across Film, TV and Animation for the last 10 years in the UK and Canada. Starting as a runner at, Monifa has worked on projects such as John Wick: Parabellum, Blade Runner 2049 and Star Trek Discovery. She continues to be driven by the technological creativity of our ever-evolving industry.

Winnie Laban

Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Pasifika) of Victoria University

The Honourable Luamanuvao Dame Winnie Laban is serving as Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Pasifika) of Victoria University of Wellington in 2010 and has since provided strategic advice, direction and support for Pacific students and staff, increasing enrolments and raising Pacific achievement. Winnie is a former New Zealand politician. She served as the Member of Parliament for the Mana electorate, representing the Labour Party, and was the Labour Party's spokesperson for Pacific Island Affairs and for interfaith dialogue
